Clamshell backpack

This clamshell backpack illustrates an open-flat format for your own design conversation. Bring your design to Lunburg, or work with our atelier to develop your own. The gallery illustrates possibilities for that conversation.

The rounded-top exterior has a projecting front zipped pocket and a top handle. Opened flat, the main body reveals two halves joined at the centre: one shows a zipped pocket and key leash, while the other has broad slip openings and a smaller rectangular patch. The bottom view shows flat panels, a raised front-pocket base, edge seams and two zip tracks, with lower strap adjusters at the sides.

Share your design or outline the backpack you would like to create. Opening format, interior layout, dimensions and carrying details can be discussed around your project brief. Preferred leather, colour, finish, lining, stitching and branding can be discussed, including blind debossing or foil stamping. Final materials, specifications and packaging are agreed for your project.
