Tab-fastened saddle bag

The tab-fastened saddle bag offers inspiration for your own shoulder-bag design. Lunburg works from your design or helps you develop one; this gallery illustrates a rounded form and contrasting surfaces.

A suede-looking flap follows the rounded saddle body. A smooth centre tab passes through a rectangular loop, and a smooth shoulder strap contrasts with the flap surface.

The raised flap shows a smooth reverse above the visible cavity. The detail brings the pale fibrous-looking edge of the flap and gusset into view, alongside a stitched side panel and the strap passing through a buckle.

Discuss the shape, flap, fastening, strap proportions and interior layout for your own bag brief. Leather, colour, finish, lining, stitching and branding—including blind debossing or foil stamping—can be discussed during development. Final specifications and packaging are agreed for your project.
